Advice

hey everybody, so despite beastmasters getting screwed, i wanna take a chance and go for it as my advanced job post lvl 30. If any experienced beastmasters could answer this question, what job/subjob should i take up to lvl 30? i was thinking warrior and white mage.. Any advice or comments on this would be awesome.

If you plan to be a solo bst, take whm up to 37. If you want to try and pt, I would take up war. Although this is coming from a non-highlevel bst, this is just the information I gathered from reading the other bst posts. I also found that at higher levels, nin can be beneficial.

if you have ninja availible, subbing ninja at 24 is a good alternative to whm.

Take white mage to 37 for sure, because your chances of getting an invite for party are slim and none. As for party subs, I would say take ninja to 37; Utsusemi, dual wield, and a couple cool debuffs. BST/WAR, double attack and the attack bonus sound cool but they are at level 50 and 60.

Also ask a couple of friends, or your linkshell about a static. Not so much a traditional static with whm, blm, dd etc. If you can get a 6man bst static going that would be awesome, you would level super fast.

also when you are pre 23 before pts use charm to keep hate on sentient mobs ie bstmen arcana to keep hate away from mages its like a second voke becareful of sic abilities as well for their aoes

i personally like /nin right now. if you are careful, you can xp w/o having to ever sit down once.
