A duo for a lifetime

Hi guys

Recently I've found someone who would be interested in leveling our BST together from level 10 and up. I've looked around but only found sites that are mainly for solo BST such as beastmaster.com (or something like that). Do any of you have personal expereinces you could share with me please? Thanks a ton ^^

I didnt duo till about 32, but I can imagine some of my earlier levels being much easier with a duo partner. FFXIvault at IGN.com has a good BST duo guide, but I dont think it starts giving level spots till the 20's or 30's.

Until then, @10 go to La Thiene and kill thickshells, funguars, akabas (pink) with rabbits and saplings as pets. @12 go to Tahrongi and kill Dhamels with Crawler pets or maybe even akabas (black). @15 go to Meritiphaud and kill lizzies with whatever DC or EM pets you can find. @16 you can stay in mountains or head to Maze and fight woms, gobs with bats as pets.

Ordelles has lots of things to charm, and has lots of prey. Careful, most things there link. Dont go until 16 because the bats start at that level.

Once you reach 18 you can head to Valkurm or Buburimu and pretty much stay till 20-21 unless you are killing gobs and pugils, you can stay till 23.

After this I'm not really sure. Quifim should wait till about 26 or there wont be enough EM's to charm, mostly tough. Perhaps you can mess around in jugner, or batallia for a level or 2. At 23 you can also go a bit deeper in maze of shakrami and do bats vs crawlers or gobs. Hope this gives you a start anyway...

Allakazahm has a good guide for solo, but with some imagination you could use it for duo too. It gives all the mobs levels so that helps alot. As another resource you could use ffxisomepage.com. It allows you to search mobs by level, area, etc. Perfect for matching up pets with prey.

That should work out for you. Unfortunally some levels don't work out too hot with a duo and you either need to find more people or just solo yourselves.
