Duo on Qufim Isle

Woot duoed Qufim last night (2-lvl 25's) and felt great to be chaining giants for 200+ up until we let our guard down, rested and noticed our life turning red instead of white >< 3 wights and a bogy right behind us!!! I know I looked around before I rested but oh well. Damn the undead.

Random Notes

- BST looks real nice in shade armor at my lvl and Tamohawk+1
- Stroper Chyme is currently Heavily camped on the Caitsith Server by numerous japanese partys dont even waste your time.
- BLM is a bit&h to solo lvl in order to lvl your sub Whm ><

I'm also leveling in Qufim, but just solo. It's pretty difficult, since theres so much aggro to worry about (Giants, Worms, Weapons, plus undead from 20:00-04:00)

I like going up and down the tunnel sending seeker bats against each other. They always spawn in 2's and no one ever bothers with them except BST's so you could run up and down all day assuming the weapons dont get in your way.

I'm going to try to get to 27 tonight, then maybe I'll try Rolanberry, or going crab -> pugil or crab -> crab in Qufim.

Think I'll wait till 28 to do Giants.

I'd rather deal with Qufim anyday than Rolanberry, too much damn IT gobs and Quadavs roam around, then theres the Gobbue's, Bee's just stand no chance against anything, Crawlers put up a fight but they con T's most of the times. Lvl 25 was by far my longest lvl so far, I went to korroloka and managed to finally charm a EM Jelly after 6 times and running back to zone, then 2hred it and mauled through the tough bats and VT bats, feeding it pet food to keep it's life going manages to get great XP after that until my 30 min was up....

Should have taken my advice and did 25 in Ordelles. Took me 3 hours to level. Lots of non-aggro mobs. Not close to zone, but if you dont screw up, you wont need it since nothing aggos. As an aside, never thought about using 2 hour on Jelly. Damn, I should have done that in Ordelles, since the Jellies where I was conned EM. I could charm, but It would become uncharmed too quick, with too much risk of failing recharm. BTW they were in a room that I didnt go near, so although they aggro, they were never in my way.

Yeh I did I found the room on the top floor of ordelle caves with vorpal bunnies and beetles, however due to the long repawn rates and the occasional treasure chest hunters killing them for fun it was a little irratating. But I pulled out a lvl there. I'm 27 now, the grind to 35 is racking my nerve. I have almost 2 stacks of Beastcoins though, and me and another BST buddy is planning on doing some BCNM's. Anyone know which one is good for BSTs and how many of us is needed?

Almost got to 27 last night in Qufim. I am 4000/5400, and would have been 5000/5400 if not for 2 deaths. I got my first chain #3 which felt really good. The thing I like about Qufim is that theres so much stuff around to charm. Combined with your broth pets, you can almost kill for chain 2 everytime. Decent crabs are very strong, and worthy pets. My 2 deaths were flukes, wasnt because of me screwing up or anything, and both had to do with someone training a mob while I was in combat with worms near the tunnel entrance to go back to Jeuno. First one, a Dancing Weapon was returning to its spawn point, and came right at me. 2nd one, someone must have aggroed a wight, but it came after me because of my low HP. Tonight, if I'm careful, I should have 27 within my first hour, then get 28 in a couple more hours, since I might be able to charm Pugils as well.

At least with my 2nd death I was able to get 120 quick exp back. I had my HP set right at the spot I died, so I respawned and finished off the Tough worm I had almost killed. 120 exp thanks, ^^

BTW for your question on BCNM, BST can do the Giddeus one or the Yughott one. Mandragora and bunnies repectively. The Palborough one might be hard because they are worms. A PT of 6 BSTs can own either of them. Each one takes a Mandy as pet and sicks them on the boss, then kills off each pet one at a time. It's so easy its sick, unless you get multiple charm failures. (buy a monster signa)

I got Monster Signa first attempt! The only NM I actually got a decent drop off of but uh, qufim is great but now that I'm 27 everything is sparatic, either its' just decent or tough hardly any evens. I been battling mostly Giant Rangers and Ascentics you'll need 2 crabs for these bad boys or food. I'm thinking I can take weapons now but I'm not certain how tough they are cause they're cons are tricky. I'm just waiting to see a Even Match Leech to open up so I can charm and 2hr it and tear through 2k Xp before that half hour is up!
