    BST/WHM to solo BST/NIN or /WAR to party At least thats how I've heard it goes.

            bst/nin is NOT all that useful in a pt. the slight reduction in attack delay that the nin sj provides doesn't compare to the 30% boost of berserk, or the ability to voke (thereby making it so you can work w/ a thf).

            Solo'ing with a bst/war is also possible, but not recommended. Hell, I'm sure any combo will work as long as you bring au lauts and pots for healing or something.

              bst/sam anyone? or is the gimped /sam meditate too gimp for us?

              How about a bst/nin with Juggernaut + kraken club ? (with the now special +u236 ability )

              Taru spirits within is kind of crappy >.<

              I was also thinking of bst/thf for

              sneak attack + trick attack + spiral hell. Would this have a chance?

                Lol, I'd love to spam meditate & rampage. Then again, I keep hearing people spam Sprit Within when it comes to HNMs and god fights.

                Looks at 100 sword skills

                But I'll worry about subbing SAM after I get lvl.60

                Edit - Yeah, I heard that the Kraken Club got nerfed, so it's occasional hits are less occasional. Maybe that +u236 ability is better ^^

                  Personally I think bst/war would be a hella-useful meleer in a PT. You get all those nifty "killer" abilities (do those work when you're not the one the monster is facing?), and be able to do decent damage.

                    killer abilities used to be uber but SE nerfed that before the NA release so we are now stuck with a very wussy one that won't work unless you are tanking.
                    75/bst, 60/smn, 51/rdm, 46/whm, 40/blm, 37/nin, 37/thf, 37/war, 32/sam, 25/brd, 10/pld, 7/mnk

                      I read that the killer ability actually slowed down the attack speed of the mob. But SE nerfed that, by turning it into a free paralyze on the mob that works 5% of the time.

                      And yeah, buddy is right. It's only when you have the most hate in your PT, when the killer effect works.
