Its weaker than a mob u would charm.. i would concider it a decent and I only use it for emergencies or if Im farming with like a black tigerfamiliar.

poppipo you seem to be trying to decide between BST and BRD since you are asking lots of question. Most of these are already in faqs/guides/other posts.

To be honist the best way to find out how a job works and if you like it is to level it. This game has an endless amount of time so by leveling up several jobs you have nothing to lose but lots to gain in experience with how the other jobs work.

I'm more than happy to try to answer any questions you have as best I can but really the best way to find out is to try.

And to the original question. It seemed like my pets when I first got the call ability were about Even Match. Now at 30 they seem a little better than Decent Challenge. This is because different pets "cap" at a certain level and don't get stronger. I'm not sure what the caps are but I'm sure searching the forums/other sites will give you the caps for each pet.

from what i read the regular pet caps around 8-10 lvls above the lvl you can use them at like the bunny would cap around lvl 30 or so while the HQ broths have no cap at all. Yeah the jugs used to feel stronger before but a bit weaker or not, they are a great lifesaver!!!

iv finally decided

yup after all the posting and stuff i finally decided that im going to be a bst, mainly because i hate partys sooo much, and also becus i can only play for a limited time.

and btw im not a lv 12 whm, i dont know how to edit my account, im a lv 29 rdm.
