Hellion - any tips?

Heyas,

Yesterday me and my LS mate tried to fight this NM, and got rocked hard!

We're both lv 62 and we used Mushushus (sp?) and Flying Mantras (sp?) . We couldn't win! He was just owning them for 200-300 per swing + his darkness would hit for 100+ dmg! Well my friend got owned by gobins hehe and I got killed by Hellion. We got him down to 3/4 HP with like 10 monsters. Anyone got any tips on how to kill this beast??

Get a few more levels and use Toramas

ya its too dangerous to fight him at that level coz all the gobs still aggro... i tried once and realized it would'nt work, so i waited till the gobs don't aggro anymore (i think lv71) .
but anyways i went to kill him last week, (lv72) and rotated between 2 even match toramas, took around 2-3 rotations to finally take him down. He really hits hard. Got quite a lump sum of gil and the scythe. finally (been eyeing the scythe since lv62)

edit: having said that, it might not be totally impossible to kill it at your levels though... maybe you and your friend could 2hr a torama each, and go all out offence attacking with ur pet from battle start...

Oh sounds like a plan with the 2hr toromas.. hopefully I can actually charm toromas. It should of been ok if my friend didn't get bashed by those goblins hehe.
Allakazham people said that a lv 61 BST beated it.. damn he must of been a good bst hehe.

Yeah I saw that 61. It's incredibly misleading. If it is an exception, most ppl will end up having a hard time of it. It should say 72 or so I think, which is when a few Toramas are even match I believe.

2hring two Toramas is a good idea, but do one at a time, in case of failures. :-)

I'd need to have a bit of a play around fighting the doomed with toramas and stuff, as I haven't been in onzozo for aaages. So I don't know my limits and so on. But yeah I could help sometime.

My BST75 friend had a bad experience with this because there simply weren't enough toromas around. There must've been 3 exp PTs in the same area pulling those. This is a problem BST faces everywhere though when looking for enough pets to fight some NM.

Hey lurch! we should totall hit it up! Kale and me hit 62 like 2 days ago but we only have like 1k exp into 63 hehe. We usually play at night until 2-3 AM EST.

If you're lower than lv65, you'll have problems hunting even the regular Tainted Flesh too. One of those Mantas is not enough to take it down, unfortunately.

When I attempted mine, I was at lv70. Popping Hellion wasn't too much of a problem (just needed to exchange pets a few times to kill the Tainted Fleshes). However when it popped, I asked my lv75 Ninja friend to come duo it instead :x

I wouldn't recommend soloing it unless you have no other means of killing it, but a high level BST duo should have no problem killing it at all
