New BCNM40 3 Man fights designed against BST

Wow. I hit 35 BST a few weeks ago. I earned those levels soloing. Blood, sweat, mountain dew and lot of tears went into those dang levels. Hell I died 6 times at 34. Once at 8 tnl.

I feel like I just got slapped in the face. Now that I have a static 3 BST PT, comments that BST are lazy just offends me more. We three BSTs work harder than any 6 member PT I have seen. (This is not an insult to any non bsts.) Do you realize how much TP a mob gains with 6 melees hitting it? Do you know how hard it is to control aggro with no voke? Do you know how frustrating it is not to leave your pet in time and lose 30% EXP?

Crap this is just pissing me off.

Wow, this thread really got off topic, but to reply to the original poster, bc40 in feiyin is doable with 3 bst. Just because you can't charm the mobs in there doesn't mean it's not doable with bst. You just have to use funguar familiars against the mobs. The feiyin bc is skeletons, but they pop 1 at a time, so you can easily beat it with 3 bst + 3 funguar. The summon familiar ability is 5 minutes so you might wanna bring pet food too to heal your pet before it dies and you have to summon another one. Epsilon works best. Usually you can beat one bc with 2 funguar + 2 epsilon.

Karinya, don't know how far you played BST. However with my experience with it that isn't nessisarily an "easy" job. After lv. 10 I wasn't able to charm VT monsters for more then 1 min. as before that the ones that checked as VT I could keep charmed for a good 5 or 6 min.

Pitch them against a couple other T-VT for exp that's penalized till it uncharms and comes for me, which I'd have to make sure I have a new pet ready to keep it busy will I finish off the one it was after and pray I beat that other before I end up with 2 on me. That or have more weak monsters ready to be disposed against the harder of the ones till the other is dead.

After lv. 10 that tactic I was gone with using on VT's and even T's it wasn't as reliable anymore. Lv. 10 is were I stopped my BST so far because I lacked the patience to keep doing it. I have only 2 BST in my LS that are in the 70s they love the job but they admit aswell that it wasn't "easy".

I really love bst ( I even have the relic headpiece ) but levelling it 10-35 solo if VERY hard.

I'm levelling it in a linkshell set party and I feel like a bit of a leech but we're going 10-37 and I will probably do more damage than any random person they will invite anyway.

I hope 37->75 are as fun as 0->15 was solo ^^

I'm only about 1/2 to level 30 and I wish I had a static to level with.. every once and awhile you hit a 2-3 level stretch that is almost impossible because to get good exp you need to constantly risk death

I started a newbie BST, and it is so incredibly challenging. O_O I really must praise you guys for sticking with this job. ^^ I have an added respect for the lvl 50 BST in my LS now.
