"Heel" Problems please read....

Hi I just got my BST to 11 and have tried to use (Heel) several times and all that happens is the mob starts attacking me even if I havent touched it any info would be great thanks. ^^

I believe I saw a post by Lily (one of the resident BST experts) that said if you use Heel too close to the Mob you're fighting, it will draw aggro.

So, try backing off a ways and using it to see if that helps.

At that low of a level, if you are anywhere near visible distance from the mon, you will get hate for using Heel.

My strat was to move a far away distance from the mon. When the mon was a sliver away from death, i'd run until I couldn't see the mon anymore, then use heel.

It gets easier at higher levels.

easy way to see if you are out of agro range is to check your radar

if the mob is still on radar, you are too close

don't use heel till they are off the radar. You can be that far and still see their life though so just play with it till it works for you.

Thanks everyone I tried using Heel further away and it works like a charm also does BST get less frustrating later on? I'm a Mithra and was wondering if that makes any Differance thanks again ^^

lol, I'd say on the whole it gets easier to lvl yes. With your whm sub starting to give you more spells (regen, cureII/III, blink), plus the benefits of Release, lvling after 35 is much less hassly than to begin with.

Being Mithra won't hurt your abilities no. At much later lvls you will have a slightly lower charisma, but charm seems to be so random sometimes, I don't think this really matters. (I once failed on a too weak clipper in Qufim when I was 61ish, crazy no?) ;x
