As BST you notice EVERYTHING. I guess due to the screen scroll, etc. as a party job you don't notice some of the random wackiness of FFXI.
This weekend, I had these things happen..
I sent pet Bat to attack a Hare. After 4 rounds, 3 of which my Bat landed a hit.. I eat a piece of Grilled Wild Hare meat. The mob turns and runs over and whacks me once. (sometimes hate is crazy)
At level 19 in Ordelle's Caves, I took a DC Gob Tinkerer down to a small bar of life and let him kill my pet. The second round of me trying to finish him off, he used Drain for 79 damage!?!
:sweat: I swung away with Valor, but of course died on a gobbie bomb. I didn't even realize Tinks drained (never noticed in PT combat).
Last night. I tried to charm a EM Hare, and he resisted.. his little DC buddy linked, but no big deal.. it happens once an hour or so, but then he resisted a 2nd, and THIRD time. (ugh crazy) I decided to charm the DC, but died just as I got him.
This was crazy as I probably get 1 resist every 1-1.5 hours. I have noticed, unless I'm getting extremely unlucky that the chance of the 2nd Charm being resisted seems higher than normal, but I had never had 3 in a row. Is this true for most everyone else, or have I just been unlucky?
