Nobles Ribbon vs. <Insert> Headpin

Level 17 BST right now with a basic question. I'm at +4 CHR at this moment.. one Opal (+1) ring, and the Beast Whistle (+3).

There aren't many resists on charm at this level, as the mobs don't resist hardly anything through these levels. I'm wondering when some of you BST's switched to Noble's Ribbon? Right now, I really need the MP, so I wear a headpin.

I can put another Opal ring on, cheap and simple if I start to get some resists. The +2 (hope?) rings are pretty expensive and they are the only other upgrade I can think of outside the Nobles Ribbon. At least until 36 (Pearl rings) and then 40 (I have a corsette +1).

Is there anything I'm missing? Will I be fine with +5 CHR until level 36? Or was it best in your experiences to lose the precious MP for the CHR boost of the ribbon?

I only had +4 chr until level 36. Even now at level 40 I only have +6 chr, and resists are never really a problem. (I get a resist maybe 2 or 3 times an hour - when I do I just use Tame).

I'm at +10 CHR right now level 35. Hope Rings, Noble's Hairpin, and Bird Whistle. I'm working on getting a Hawker's Knife for when subjobing Ninja for another 2 CHR, then the corsette +1 at level 40. I'm always working to improve my CHR, and I still have fails. I have MP earrings, and belt, so that's where I get my MP boost from.
