Do BST miss out on BCNM or HNM....

I heard about those madragora(sp) things that they are supposed to be good at but to my knowledge BST's are only good in areas with Pets to tame.

So would they still get to fight things like shadowlord or other things ? Or do they miss out on that stuff ??



BTW, what are the benefits of a Elvaan BST over a Taru BST ??

You can fight anything as long as you have friends to fight with you. BST's may not (prob are not) the best choice for some HNM's but with your friends/LS it shouldnt be that big of a deal.

At 23 you get the ability to summon a pet (need to buys items to do this) so even places where there is nothing to charm you can have a pet.

For BCNM 6 bst's is supposed to be the bst PT for alot of them.

Elv's make really good BST's they have higher cha and str but they lack MP.

Tarus have lower str not sure about cha, and have better MP.

With Elv its pretty easy to buy some MP gear (hairpins, friars rope, rings) and make up for it.

From what ive seen STR equip is more expensive and harder to come by at the AH.

IMO Elv's make the best BST, however most people level whm before they lvl BST and elv's dont make near the best whm, where as taru's do, so its a toss up.

elvaan would make for a better BST imo but taru would do fine. The problem is just sub MP is so pathetic and you don't need int, therefore taru's best traits don't do as much while playing BST.

BCNM40 best PT = bst
BCNM30 can be done by 6 BST. I was doing an AF3 tour when I was invited to what would have been my first one of those however ;;

You can't really expect to solo some of the game's harder challenges like you do for leveling up. However, having a bst on a fight certainly doesn't waste a spot. And incidently, when I fought the shadowlord we had a bst on our team who did some nice damage along with his pet.

It's hard to see from the shot angle, but over 6 BSTs on the other side of the room constantly threw sand lizards and crab familiars at the wyvern.

yes we can XD! but i'ts a 2nd level grade type to charm like jellies and raptors what do i mean?? well when it's even match it's really HARD to charm it, even match will be resisting your charm . it would be like charming a very tough

so let me get this straight, for the insane HNM fights, if you can somehow get an alliance of 18 bsts who all had a heavy purse, it can be possible to just keep throwing summons at the HNM till it dies?

But for things like fafnir, that take like 5 hrs to kill with like 2 and a half alliances, how viable is this insane idea of mine?

would spamming non stop pets = victory or just a lot of poor bst?

someone plz correct me on this half insand half depraved dream of a mad man

so does that mean we can only tame for a couple of seconds? or can we tame it from 3-5 minutes?

It means it will resist charm alot. For duration of charm level is the only factor.

Quick question to those that have done BCNM's as bst's. How much +chr gear would you call Enough or is it a case of more the merrier?
