Familar Pets

Just wondering, is the familiar pet's behavior that you summon from the "pet food items" similar to the regular charmed monsters? Do they also lose charm over time as well?

As far as I know, the summoned pet lasts around 15 minutes and will disappear when its time is up, it won't aggro you. I've read that the summoned pets are generally weaker than the monsters around their level and are therefore probably best for BCNMs, farming, and emergency situations where no pets are to be found.

more then likely it's best to use them for BCNM's they last for a good 15 mintues

I have a question about farmiliars as well. I wanted to know if its possible to summon more than one farmiliar at a time, because I was in the citadel and saw 1 bst and 3 tamed bats around him fighting a pot. Which also makes me wonder if you can charm a wild monster AND use a farmilar at the same time?

Can anyone shed light on this? I not high enough to use farmiliars yet.

no multiple pets or anything, just one charmed pet. what you saw is a pack of bats, they always come in three, nice attack -- Jet Stream pwns ^^
