Bouta hit 30 with my elv whm and was thinking of tryin out bst but i had a few questions

How good is the bst 2h? from what ive read it seems the normal strat is to let your pet die so you dont take an exp hit or to release it so itll heal, then recharm.....because of this style of play it seems like the 2h really wouldnt be that good.....am i wrong?

Is it true that bsts can solo some of the 40 BCNM's? If not solo are they are least sought for those?

As elv will whm make a good sub or will lack of mp make it hard to really benefit from subbin whm

BST 2hr is a mixed bag. The only time I consider it to be extra useful is when you tame a very hard monster and want to keep it tamed for a noticeable amount of time (you can literally tame tote1s tote2s - very low chance - and then use 2hr to control them for 30 minutes) So in a way it's not very good... but situationally speaking it can be great.

BST cannot solo any BCNM40, however, 6 BST bcnm40 is by far the easiest bcnm40 possible. If there were more EN speaking BSTs on lakshmi I would not do bcnm40 any other way (currently I use my brd most of the time)

Elvaan BST works great, good chr, and all subs have pitiful mp (even tarus) so being an elvaan won't hurt as much.

The main use i find with the BST 2 hour is maybe if you are doing a quests and you arent going for exp and want a good pet to kill anything in your way.

And the second use (what i mainly use it for) Is sometimes you will be ina Jam and have to tame a Tough pet (this will usually last a few seconds) Here you use your 2 hour so the pet doesnt break charm fast and atack you. Yes its very limited 2hr ability = /
