BST/SUM - Summon and Tame?

Would a BST/SUM be able to summon and have a beast fight beside them? If possible I think this would be a great combination.

I think you can only have 1 pet at a time. Even if you could have 2 pets at a time you would have the following problems: 1) your summon pet would be weak (half your level) and 2) no effective way to heal yourself.

Still trying to play way too much...
