BST 2 hour skill

Can anyone tell me a little bit about the BST 2hour?? Ive never really heard anything about it or seen it used. How much stronger does it actually make your pet?

sorry, this doesnt EXACTLY answer your question, but in beta...i have seen nearly ever job use their 2hr and even experienced most of them. lemme tell you, they are STRONG for what they do...i would imagine, if you did the BST 2 hr on a even match, it could probably take out a tough match.

it seems to raise the pet's level by 1-2 or so, gives it some extra hp, and extends the tame time to 30 minutes. Not really useful for levelling because the 2hr is really good for only one pet. The best use of the 2 hour I've found is when I've had to tame a tsuyo or above in an emergency situation (tame time on these are like 30 seconds to 1 minute max, if you are even lucky eough for it to land), and the 2hr allows the tame time to extend the whole 30 minutes.

Wow so it automatically makes it stronger AND lasts for 30 mins, thats nuts!!! Well yur pet would prolly die before 30mins though. It be cool if you could sumhow manage to turn a really strong inc tough monster into your pet and use 2hr and kill like crazy till it wore off. Thanks guys!

err...30 minutes? i think thats a typo? ..it has to be a typo...it stays out for 1/4 of the charge time...that...just sounds wrong...i could see 15...but 30?

not 30 mins lol stronger pet for like 30secs ans yes a same level could take out a hard that way. but also normal sometimes same lvl take out hard. sucks for you tsuyo tames last 30-1 min mine last longer but i try not to use those unless no other pets around less exp. 2hr probably would be best when like in pt and need to tame a link or something. Solo I never use becuas if im in trouble and need it that bad ill be dead soon anyway lol

2hr last's for over 5 minutes definite..but if you were to keep the pet and you reach the level you can heal it

I can confirm a BST 2hr does make the tame last at least 30mins i found myself in the position to tame a tsuyo once cause I was losing :sweat:

However rather than running away, I thought i'd have some fun, I was constantly smashing raku enemies and keeping the pet healed with scooby snacks. However, the stronger the pet is tamed, the larger the exp penalty is (I really really could be wrong about this, everyones says its a 30% reduction, but everytime I win with a tsuyo pet the xp is very poor??)

The information everyone has posted so far is correct, taming stuff at a higher level will last 30-180seconds in my experience. But the 2hr does make it last at least 30mins

the xp is probably poor because your keying off the pets level not yours since it is greater.

Hm, sounds pretty usefull... especially if you can get lucky and tame a tote2 Thats endless fighting of tote-tsuyo for a good 30 mins... even with the 30% thats gotta be insane

The higher the level the pet the greater the exp cut, I have tamed tote1s before, using 2hr and I would guess the exp cut was around 80% (another 30 keeping the pet alive) but as someone else mentioned it probably just uses the pet's level for exp calculations.
