I just listen to the game music, I don't put on CD except on the odd occasion. Usually some old U2 CD, Ben Folds, Gorillaz, Roni Size, Wilco, Jurassic 5, Black Eyed Peas, Johnny Cash or some other game soundtrack like Ico, Panzer Dragoon Orta or the Shin Megami Tensei games. Or that Star Onions one. Or some Overclocked Remix of an FF boss theme from FFVII, FFVIII and FFX. FFX OST is a fave.
What does everyone think is the best song for
1. party
2. solo
3. Nm hunting
4. monster farming
ok, to seriously answer the questions.
(1) Varys with TP setup. If you're PT is set for accuracy gear on the Melee side. Minuet and Marches are pretty solid choices. Stack 'em or mix them up. Mages get Ballads and Etude pre-55 and Ballad x2 after 55
(2) Solo... that's funny. If you really want to solo effectively, BRD isn't the right job. Check BST, RDM, BLU, DRG, PUP, THF or NIN for a better solo experience. BRD solo is incredibly slow and a complete waste of time. These other jobs will breeze by you, killing five to six mobs in the time you try to kill one.
(3) If NIN or THF is tanking for you, Mambo x2 all the way. March or Minuet otherwise.
(4) See #2, other jobs are better suited for farming.
lol yeah, I think you guys have this thread terribly mistaken.
