The link above provides a list the new abilities and our songs.

Nightingale: Reduces casting time for songs by half.
Troubador: Increases casting time for songs by 1.5x , but doubles the effects.
Foe Sirvente: Reduces target party member's enmity loss
Adventurer's Dirge: Reduces target party member's enmity

The JAs look fantastic, the songs look very situational. Overall, I'm pleased for the JAs alone.

Well this is nice, too bad the speed songs dont stack, but ah well cand have everything i guess. So do we have to earn merrits for all these new JAs or how does that work?

These songs might stack for bard, you don know until you find out

Raptor Mazurka and Chocobo Mazurka do not stack (it's in the update notes).

Troubadour is awesome. I wonder if it affects offensive songs too (Doubled Effect of Carnage Elegy? Egad!).

Foe Sirvente is great for tanks, Adventurer's Dirge is great for BLMs and other hate-spikers (who generally don't have a ton of -enmity available to them).

Overall, I think Bards come out very much ahead with this update.
