EDIT: OK, aftr a little research, I see that the only magic accuracy gear that bard's can equip were all put in in the most recent update. There's the Gramary Cape (+1 magic acc) and Aureole (+8 magic acc). The Aureole couldn't be equipped with an instrument, right? Anywho, read on.. the rest of the post was left unedited.

Hmm. Ok, so I got to thinking a big "what if" ... what if magic accuracy gear would also effect songs? Has anyone ever tested this? If not, I'd be willing to .. but I'm not going to waste my time if someone has done this before and found out it doesn't work.
I can think of logical arguments for both yes and no. And I'll be the first to admit the chances of this working have to be somewhere near slim and none, but again, what if? What if this was finally a way to start landing elegy and finale on god-level mobs? A lot of the reason I'd even consider this is because (and maybe this is largely translation issues) but there is a lot of inconsistancy in the terminologies that SE uses.
Are songs magic? Well, they *are* under the magic menu, listed under scrolls on AH; and wind/string/singing skills are under "magic skills" in both the status skills and merit point catagories.
On the other hand, they don't cause "magic" aggro. This is imo the biggeset argument against; but also the only arguement against (other than maybe the lack of MP useage).
Reguardless, I plan to test this out some unless someone else already had and found the idea to be bunk. What do you all think? I know there are some other career bards on these forums ^^.
