Gitaruru, this should work for you. See the picture attached.

I understand what you're trying to do. Well, they (thieves) will learn once they have Ballads, not Madrigal and Minuet on them

Then why did you say, "In my opinion, it isn't the other players job to position themselves for your songs, thats OUR job."? How is positioning other people our responsibility? They need to position themselves.

          thank you apple-pie :D
One more post-it on my monitor :D

I've actually get a chance to use those phrase last night ^^~
chaining cockatrices for 100+ exp none stop + i'm puller so i had very little time to position myself (almost holding a link 1/2 the time on purpose lol)^^~
the drg was jp.. and i don't know why he likes standing 90 degree to pld ; ;? oh well at least after i use the phrase he trys to stand close to the other melee :D

Boy laehn, you really need a lesson in reading skills I guess. When I say "They don't need to postion themselves for our songs" i'm not meaning I need to physically move them, i'm saying its not their job to move for songs, its OUR job to move so that songs land on the people that need them. If someone moves into ballad range for instance and is a melee, its our job to go get the right songs on them. Why do you like to argue about everything anyways? i've noticed that you argue with just about everyone on every thread about something that is so nit picky and stupid its a waste of time. You know very well what i'm trying to say, and that the point i'm making is correct. Stop bickering about dumb things. "Vote for Pedro"

Oh, cloud, if you're still taking cockatrice at 65, you could probably move onto Processionaires and or steelshells in boyahda tree. You'll kill them just as fast, and be getting 180-230 exp per kill instead of just over 100. Which brings up another question. Be totally honest too. on Average, how much exp/hour are you all getting? Just wondering, cause I know some people prefer lvling on T-VT stuff and chaining nonstop, and some like IT-IT+++ for chain 5's and larger exp like 180-300+. So just wondering what you all are seeing per hour and where your're lvling at each lvl. Please don't generalize your 1 good pty, or 1 good kill you get, cause that won't help me in my question. thanks ^^

Yea... but from my experience.. empty camp > IT++ mob
We went to Cape Terrigan because there's no one there and we chain none stop... i mean we're not even stopping after chain 5.. we just keep going and going... ^^~ for me that's more fun (I piss off my pld a bit though, cuz he's constantly running out of tool to keep hate =P) this PT last night got around 8k in 2 hrs ^^ pretty good consider we don't have a rdm ^^~ (pld, whm, brd, sam, drg, blm)

I do go to boyada tree often.. too... we were doing darter and Processionaires last time I went... we're there for 1 session (approx. 3hrs+ i think) and got 15k exp...(i got 300exp off 1 mob there /cheer) i didn't particularly timed how long i exp... but i did ding, and i needed 15k ^^ we could have do better had some PT not show up later on... and caused tons of lag which was a pain for our nin tank.

imo, my exp/hr depends greatly on how many PT are close by and then secondly on other member... for one, if there's a rdm? is it nin tank or pld tank? are the DD the right lvl?

personally i find fighting IT-IT++ actually easier ... non stop chaining on VT-IT actually require more skill/attention to be able to keep up with the exp/hr as IT-IT++ PT... i like to call VT-IT PT organized choas with link 2-3links at camp some time lol~... brd do truely shine better in IT-IT++ because in VT-IT PT the mob just die so fast that u need to really adjust ur singing pattern so that u don't recast song too early... Note, i also used Minuet III+IV for VT-IT PT since the melee are all in haub and chewing sole sushi =P they barely miss too...

As mentioned, whenever I do VT-IT PT, I am usually the puller too... I start pulling once I hear TP call, with mob at 50-60% HP... and have mob ready at camp asleep while they finish it off and start recasting songs... it can get quite intense doing VT-IT if you want the exp/hr to match a IT-IT++ PT... but it is still do-able.

And how was that your fault? There's no more you can do for a PLD than keep his Ballads fresh. If he's using up MP like there's no tomorrow in each fight, then that's his problem.

I obviously dont know what youre trying to say if I'm asking. I doubt I need more reading skills...I'm an English major. I have a good hold on semantics.

                  I don't argue with people; I critique/correct them. There's a big difference.

Of course it's our job to move ourselves so songs land on people appropriately, that's a "duh" answer. What I'm confused about is why you're saying it's our job to position other people, which is what you said originally. But I'm asking you if that's what you mean, because that doesn't make sense. I think you what you meant to say is, "In my opinion, it isn't the other players job to position themselves for our songs, its our job to position ourselves accordingly." This would make more sense, even though its the language barrier that needs solving, not the bard's position.

heehee... well i could slow down on the pull =P
yes i Ballads are never down on the pld but u tend to run out of mp after killing the 10th-15th mob without resting
