Nursemaid's Harp (Name?)

So I decide to put Mary's horn up on the Auction House and purchase the new Lullaby +2 harp tonight, only to find out i'm getting resisted on Decorative Weapons like literally, half of the time I cast. I didn't time the last of its duration since i was PTing but I didn't even notice any real difference from the Harp and my Horn + 1 which i later used to sleep (Slept nearly 100% of the time). Is there some secret hidden latent on this thing? Do Decorative Weapons have some resistance to harps? Both skills are capped at blue, and i hiked my skill up to 230+ and still failed.

Just curious if anyone else has had problems with it, cause right now as it stands the thing comes off as being complete trash to me.

Possibly bad luck? Or possibly string instruments are innately worse for debuff resistance, all other things being equal?

Wow that surprises me! I've never had any trouble with Decorative Weapons.

I was sleeping them with nearly 100% landing with the Mary's Horn, almost entirely. I wasn't using staffs cause I always landed between both lullabys and I'm working to get Eviscration~ So instead I was using Kard + Elegant Sheild. o.o;

I usually have about +50 chr on me. Both of my singing/string are maxed but I don't have torques or anything to raise the skill. I wouldn't say my equip is wonderful more so about average. Still I had no issues at 73 or 74 sleeping those things. (still 74 btw)

I wonder what is up?

Edit: I forgot to mention I use my Harp to finale and threnody to raise skill after I just level.. and I also had no probelms hitting these things with thren. Granted I didn't not try something like lullaby... But I used my peaon harp to do it. O.o

i tried tossing in a lullaby every now and then on aura statues last time i exped there, resist rates are about the same with horn or harp.

maybe theres something in it but it was probably just a bad day of the week for lullaby^^
