  • Initiating Opo Crown Quest

Yes i'm aware of a thread already started, but the problem i'm having is actually flagging the second quest (Even more Gullible's Travels) with the RDM in AF. I finished the first one, but when i speak to him he just thanks me for doing it. At first i thought it was low fame, but i was able to flag Ifrit, so unless you need more fame than avatar i don't know what it could be. Anyone having simliar problems, had this problem in the past? Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advanced~

it's probably fame related, as in, you need more.

You may have to wait between those quests much like the Rycharde quests, for all I know. By the time I'd racked up enough Windy fame to get the second quest, quite a while had passed since I'd finished the first. All the same, I think I got that quest at or before the fame level at which I got the Ifrit quest, so ... all I can suggest is keep raising fame, and keep waiting.

Btw, once you're smelly, although it's safe to activate the quest to remove the spell, do not complete that quest! You need to be smelly to initiate the Opo-Opo Crown quest. If you want to hear more details, track down Russta's story.

It's gotta be fame related, you don't need to wait between completing the first and initiating the second, you just need to zone out and back in.

I had the same problem happen to me, I could do the first Gullible's quest fine, then after that all he did was thank me.

I honestly cannot remember if I did more quests, I may have done a few more Windy ones, but weeks later when I checked on him again, he gave me the 2nd Gullibles quest.

I had already unlocked Ifrit before I'd initiated the first Gullibles quest

Doh, I can't even start the first quest, probably because my hatred for windurst and their fame quests hehe, how much fame is needed for the first quest?

It's more fame than is needed for Teleport-Mea and Teleport-Yhoat. When I first hit Kazham, I was able to get those two quests in Windy and Kazham, but I wasn't able to get the first Gullible quest from Magriffon.

(Teleport-Yhoat was the *only* quest I was able to get in Kazham at the time ... the quests there all require some very hefty fame. Just as well, because half of them send you off to Ifrit's Cauldron or Temple of Uggalepih.)
