CHR or SKILL?

i agree with your points - but how good is 6 wind skill?

it seems like crap to me, when it raises minuet by a measly 1 point (for example), it hardly seems worth using.

the ONLY stat that seems to matter is getting stuff landed on monsters, and no one can tell what the ratio is between skill and CHR for that stat.

I've been wondering the exact difference on that skill +

I mean without the skill + I haven't noticed much a difference. Maybe its because I only have AF. Or maybe it because I'm usually to into my zone to even check +attack of minuet exactly.

Without a WHM I end up wearing hume rse pants because I just got labeled backup healer/status removal and 120 MP won't cut it.. me and my hot pants :sweat: (Female hume >.>; )

But on average I don't notice that much of a difference in EXP rate if I don't slack off. Then again it is only +3 Wind skill I'm talking about (AF Pant)

Actually, 6 point is alot. Its the same as being 2 levels higher.

so what? my point is, what if it was 200 levels higher - what does that accomplish? until someone knows what 1 skill point does, and 1 CHR point, this conversation will go nowhere.

Yay! Everybody on the charisma bandwagon, it's a party!

I'm a firm believer of Charisma being crucial to a bard, and I still stand by it. I bought a Wind Torque for the fun of it, it didn't make a big difference, so I went back to my Star Necklace.

Either way Grunion, drop the torque, grab a Star Necklace, pick up some Errant, and have fun. Just skip the Errant Boots, Hat, and Gloves. There's better, it's hideous, and your AF is better.

CHR+2 INT+2 Convert 50 HP to MP

Got the Abjuration, just need to get the Cursed Item made, but they are very expensive, and IMO the best boots for BRD.

Dance Shoes are what I use, waiting for my LS Leader to HQ on a pair and get it to me for +4 CHR instead of +3. They're generally rather cheap for a normal set, only 20-30k on Midgardsormr.

AF Gloves and then a Jester's Headband or an Opo Crown would fit the other two slots.

Well, I went against what Ive said in all my posts on Monster Signa, and purchased one this weekend. I was saving up for the Wind Torque, but as Outaru stated, it last went for 550k. We havent had one up for sale for over a month, which pretty much guarantees a huge price hike. I highly doubt it will be 550k.

Anyhow, from what ive been hearing and talking to lvl 75 bards, CHR is very very important when it comes time for HNMs, so, on that note, I decided to start ASAP on getting my end game CHR items. Monster Signa being first Id say stick with the Errant. But then again, Im only 63

That makes me a sad Mithra to hear it's so much on our server. Then again, everything is going up in price on Fairy...it's almost getting ridiculous in some instances.

Wind Torque used to be pricey on Midgardsormr, but now it's down to 250k or so. Apparently it's a common drop from some of the BC60's, so save up your seals and head on over, might save a bit of time and money.

In what way? Debuffs? I have never hunted an HNM, will Requiem and Elergy help that much? I use them in exp battles once in a while and really don't see a huge difference. Of course I am so busy doing other things I do not have time to look :sweat:
