Brds 63+ Minuet IV Bug?

I know minuet increases attack, as the higher minuets give more attack then the lower ones... After learning Minuet IV my pt informed me that Minuet III gave more attack than IV.

I used both minuets with the cornette +1
Minuet III = +63att
Minuet IV = +61 att

Is this happening to anyone else? Or does minuet IV have some kind of hidden effect ; ;

the way the other songs scale up is that as your skill increases the spell effect increases and eventually maxes (paeon becomes +1, minne and minuet have scaling up, etc). then right about when the previous song maxes (if your skill is capped) you get the next version of the song which starts at +0. so depending on the skill level there might be some overlap but i'm sure after 2-3 levels the overlap is gone.

could it be related int he way mind effects healing, for the random "overcap" ing of spells? ie cure 2 healing for 95 ?

yea, remember minuet IV will *eventually* cap alot higher than minuet III

its not really a bug its just that the ratio of singing skill/attack bonus is very bad when you get any new song.

That happened between Minuet II and III for me too. It does go away though :D

Now the big question...does Ballad eventually cap out at +2MP/tick when you get Ballad II? I only ask because each time I was about to acquire a new Paeon, my current Paeon bumped up 1 HP/Tick to equal my NEW Paeon...and then the NEW Paeon eventually went up another notch to be better than the PREVIOUS Paeon.

Yikes...that's a big jumpled mess of words. I almost know it won't happen because Squaresoft is full of people who prefer 'balance' to any form of enjoyment one might derive from the game, but hey...it's still worth it to ask right?

Ballad1 is still 1mp a tick for me and afaik it never goes up unaided =/
