Hymnus grants Reraise II

I admit I didn't find this out until last night while doing Dynamis-Jeuno. :sweat: Really, who was going to die to test this out otherwise, especially if it was just Reraise I as I was led to believe initially? Anyways I found it to be immensely helpful in dynamis, or any other situations where you expect to die a lot and do. Should be great for those no-Raise-II PTs, if you're really on the ball and think to cast it before that PT wipe. :sweat:

My lvl 71 brd friend told me it's 50% of exp loss back. Not as good as reraise II or raise II which is 75% of exp loss back. I'd still rather wait for a raise III though. :p

I'm pretty sure it's same as Reraise II. 71-72 requires 41000 exp. When I checked I lost slightly over 1K exp each time I reraised with Hymnus (for like...8 times :dead: ) which is consistent with the 1025 you lose from a Raise II. Problem with waiting for Raise III is you're racing against time in dynamis and may not be able to afford that luxury for everyone. I only asked for Raise III when I would've deleveled without it. :sweat:

Does hymnus go on like any other song would? Like a song status effect that wears off after the few minutes?

Hrm ... I could've sworn the max exp loss was capped at 2.4k for all lvls a while ago. I know for sure that Death + Raise3 = 240 exp lost (at lvl 73), no idea about the lesser raises though.

EXP loss capped? Thats crazy. I've died at 67 and lost 3.6k - HPing and taking the full hit because raising me without an allaince of 65+ was near impossible.

I tried with Soul Voice, and lost 700 XP at level 75. I only lose about 2300 at 75 by Home-Pointing as well. I also have Moghancement: Experience, so my results will be a bit skewed.

None the less, Hymnus is nice when your soloing suddenly gives you 15 Demons and you're going to be interrupted if you try to cast a regular re-raise
