Hi everyone. I think I am ready to do the AF3 run for bard. Currently at 57 and 1k to go for 58. I was wondering how hard it was for you guys that killed it. Can a full PT of 58s-60 take on the NM? I heard it wasn't that hard. Or do you really need 12 people like it says in the killingifrit.com guide. An alliance is really hard to find... feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks again.

The NM is real simple, a full balanced pt (like a leveling pt) can do it at your level. The only problem is clearing the room first before you pop it. There is a NM Orc Warlord that spawns in that room, along with 1-3 orcs nearby. This orc can see through invis, and the common cause of death on bard af3 pt's is someone running in sight of it, and linking 4-5 orcs around.
What you do is pause in the room before the altar, gather everyone together, and clear the orcs nearby before going in there. Have a summoner pull out the warlord if there is an orc in the room as well. You are a bard, so lulluby is always an option, but more than 1-2 links and it starts getting risky.
You may need help with the Orc Warlord NM. It can be rough, and that is where the suggested 12 people comes in. Get friends to go with you for your af3, then make calls to other jobs to go with you on monastic cavern/davoi coffer key hunts. Tell them you are going to clear this NM first and will have you and your friends stay for the coffer key, best way to fill a PT for things like this.
