Bard AF3.

I am getting ready to do the quest for Bard AF3. I've read a few of the walkthroughs on how you complete it and am confused about how you begin it. Imasuke is the old man downstair in port Jeuno before you head into Qufim. Ive talked to him and he said he is an antique collector and that I can bring him things appraise if I want. I thought he was supposed to give me a key??

I then take the key to Xarcabard and trade it to a ???. Wait till afer 0:00 then examine the spot again. Then go talk to a guy in SanD. Then head to Davoi with my alliance and kill the NM bugaboo. Sound right???

you get a ring from doing af 2. take that ring to the old guy in port jueno. he'll tell you to bury it in xacabard. go to the ??? in i-10 and click it. come back a day later and get the ring back. talk to the old guy again and he'll mention an "old guy in san d" and that is about as far as i got.

1: do AF2 and you get a key item tarnished ring (or called something similar)

2: imasuke says he might be able to read it it its buried in some snow to cleanse it...

3: port xarca and bury the ring by clicking the spot in a little tunnel around i-10

4: come back after it passes midnight in japan and you can collect it (ie one irl day)

5: imasuke reads it and says he cant decifer it, but maybe someone old from sandoria can..

6: go sandoria and talk to the old gardner in the chateau (the guy who gives the derfland humus map quest), he'll give you the instructions to go davoi and click on an altar (heh i'm trying not to give away the story which i enjoyed)

7: go monastic cavern in davoi, make your way right to the back, kill the warlord in the room and then move in there and click the altar, Bugaboo pops and is pretty easy.

8: go back to the old gardner and he'll complete the story and give you your AF3

the only hard part of the quest is getting your alliance (well tbh if you have a few high lvl friends you can do it with 1pt easy) thru monastic cavern to the room in the back.
