What am I missing?

I recently returned to FF11 after about a 2 or 3 month break. Now, I know for a fact I used to be able to arrange both songs AND spells.........So, I could have Song 1, Song 2, CURE 2, Song 3, Song 4, Paralyze.....and so on.

For the life of me, I cant remember how to do this. Yes, Ive gone into White Magic, and arrange....but can only arrange white magic spells. Same goes for songs. But I cannot mix them up as I did before.

Was this changed in a patch? I do use macros, but sometimes get bored with it, so choose to use the manual list. Problem now, is, I have to scroll through all of my darned WHM spells, just to hit my song list. Annoying and frustrating.

Anyone?

What I do is.

Run to mages while war or whatever is pulling.

Cast. Mage's Ballad and MND Up.

Then run into battle with the meelers, cast Madrigal and March or Minuet.

Then I cast elegy, threnody, finale, and requiem.

Then I back up heal ;P

Not looking for an order or what I should do while actually playing my bard. Im asking how to mix the list between white magic and songs....

Like when you target yourself...anyone, go to Magic button in list, then your magic and songs list come up. That is what Im trying to rearrange.

You need to "right arrow" (-->) on either the keypad or digital pad if you have a controller on the Magic tab to bring up white magic, black magic, songs, etc.

Unfortunately, Im doing this. But when I do, it will only allow me the option to organize one at a time.......Not both WHM and Songs.

[CTRL/ALT]- [M] will bring up the complete magic listing. This should allow you to "mix" the spells the way you're referring to.

However, I would suggest you start using macros for songs/spells as you can have it do multiple things in the macros instead of just singing the song or casting the spells. Having to scroll through the listing of your spells, even if it's just up and down a few is still slower than hitting [CTRL/ALT] - [#]

As for macros, I do use them. I just get bored when things arent too difficult, so like to switch it up a bit, to liven up the gameplay. So, I use the lists.
