Anyone seen one in-game? Supposedly the NM is beatable by 4 lv70's, so doesn't seem too difficult. No idea on spawn time though.

Just to diss us more S-E makes this wearable by other jobs even though no one in the right mind would wear this other than a bard. :mad:

I saw it once on a japanese player, never again. Seems they either don't bother getting it because AF coat is just about the same, or its too much effort. I'd still like to get that and these pants that drop from an NM moss eater in Boyahda:

I would assume they're Minstrel's Pants/Leggings/whatever since the same lvl req. I think it's Chr +3 normally and then chr +7 either latent effect, at night/day, or under some moon phase.

I found out in the most recent patch when Square-Enix performed the following;
"The Spawn times of notorious monsters in Sea Serpent Grotto have been changed"
which means I am guessing that Novv will finally spawn next time I go Hunt him.

Difficulty Rating:
PT of 6 level 65's to kill the Mobs in the area (They are by no means solo'able... especially by a BRD) The alternate NM which pops 'Yarr the Pearleyed' in the same area, spawned many many times. He was easy for a NM, but I think a PT of 55's would have some problems.

Hmmm according to mysterytour it spawns in the point of the gold door, does that means it spawns after the door or before, do i need to use gold beastcoin? and it says the place of gold door is good for leveling lv 60-64, is that true?

yeah he pops by the waterfall area in the first room after the gold door.

most stuff in there cons decent at 65-70

I have the Minstral coat, hunted it five times, fought him twice and he dropped on second time. First time we had no Thief, second time was just me subbing Thief and because i'm slightly supersticious I insisted on getting last hit and it dropped. It also drops, and did the second time, Sirens Hair which on Ragnarok sells for 600k. It used to be 1.5 mil so check what it is on your server, especially if you have a lot of HNM LS' as it's used for cursed equips. I've seen a fully decked out MNK75/WHM37 solo this and me as WHM71 and my Monk friend 71 could duo it fairly easy. Yeah i just fought it, he spawn in front of waterfall area, not that hard, but didnt drop sirens hair nor minstrel coat cause theres no thief.

varg and i both have one - took many hours and a few deaths though ; ;

varg also has the drop from unut, which is next on my list (harder than novv)

i had a major drive to get it after reading about it in russta's journal (thanks buddy) and continually nagged ppl til we went and got it lol

Thats next on my list too though why the hell did they have to make it a subliger...

Other than that, I'll be going for the Kard (CHR+5 dagger) before I hit 68.

if it's any help (which I know it's probably not XD) on rag, after the maint the other day we went to level up in Boya and ended up killing Ellylon and Aqua - but I also scanned Utut - However it was dead at about 9:00-10:00pm GMT (bout 30 mins after maint finished anyway).
It was almost certainly solo'd/duo'd as we were the only PT there for sometime.

it's a subligar but it actually has black pants under it so it looks really cool with the dark colored minstrel's coat. i think for fashion's sake i'll top it off with a darksteel cap (til i get opo-opo). no one will know what the hell my job is but i'll look damn good :D

can you give directions to Soulstealer Skullnix? i can't find a map of his location
