Brd Weapon Woes

wahhhhhhh.
just hit level 8 and still cannot find any good weapons for a bard. just using a xithos now. ive searched the AH and nothing looks appealing EVER. what did you all use?

and btw, where the hell is knights minne? its not in stock in any AH ANYWHERE.

Knights Minne can be found near the chocobo renters in South Sandoria.

No, pretty much all the weapons at that level suck. I just used some random dagger. You can use a spatha at 9, maybe?

Knight's Minne is sold in S. Sandy in the Chocobo Stable Pen. No clue, why. hah

Am I the only one who's a little disappointed that bards can't use bows? Yeah, I know that instruments go in the ranged weapon slot and all, but I stil think that a bard should be able to shoot... Makes more sense to me than a Bard running around even more than usual to try to poke the monster with a dagger.

That being said, I am definitely NOT holding my breath for an update that will change this.

No need for ranged when we can pull with our songs. In most roleplaying games ranged are ment for pulling ect. except for classes Like ranger and such. I see no reason to have it as I pull just fine with songs

you can pull fine with songs, but teh rangeof a song is less then any of any spell so you are kind of limited
