Ministrel Ring, brd50 ring

anyone know if this ministrel ring, spellcasting -25%, any good? is it better than chr bonus and can i stack it to 50% + maybe fast cast?

Oh and anyone know where to find this ring? my friend said BCNM but which one

Latent Effect means that it only works when your HP are yellow. But most important, casting time reduction only make the song come out faster, without really reducing the time your casting. The song would come out at 50% casting maybe but you would still have to wait until the little gauge above the screen disapear.

So, to answer your question, regular stats boosting ring are more usefull than theses Minstrel Rings.

aye, hardly am i ever in yellow hp for the latent effects to work, the only time i draw aggro is when i become a trick attack puppet for a thief, or a aoe dmg attack goes astray. (cursed exorays) in any means the minstrel ring even looks tempting would not be to wise of investment, for bards draw to little of aggro. a plus 2 or plus 3 chr ring will be more beneficial in the end for you character, or an astral ring if you should have white mage or redmage as a sub.

but it might be good for camping things like hoo mjuu, its like instant cast for a very long range spell

Would be cool to test just for fun. I would keep my HP in yellow while level'ing if they were actually effective.

Meh, forget this ring. Just get one of those +20 MP -20 HP rings instead, much better and same cost :D
