Hello. I was just wondering how big of a difference CHR makes on a song's effectiveness. I want to be either a Mithra or a Galka but they have the two lowest charisma stats in the game. I understand that I should choose what I want but not if I can't get a party. Is it enough of a difference to the point where it's unplayable? I'm not sure but I don't think it would really matter that much. Can someone back me up on this?

Believe me you'll get a PT no matter what your race is.
CHR does make quite the difference in your songs though...

(Correct me if I am wrong)

CHR increases your chance of song's like Foe Lullaby successfully working.
It also slightly increases the bonus's gained from Minuet/Minne Songs. (The Higher your CHR, the Higher the Bonus)
Also I think I heard that its possible for a song like Paeon III to regen 4 hp per 3 seconds instead of 3 hp, because of High CHR.

As a Galka/Mithra your CHR will be Low..
Lower!
You'll still have higher CHR than any other job (besides BST), but the only difference is you'll probably have lower than a Taru/Hume/Elvaan BRD

chr is wicked important. Think of bard like rdm, they need their enfeebles to stick and when they dont its real bad. WHen you get elegy a bit higher up you will really want it to stick, same with requiem ( though not as important) thrennodies, and sleep. When fighting HNM its even more important cuz their ressist is high, also if you do BCNM battles you really want hgih chr to lullaby all the mobs.

And yeah my paeon 1 does liek 2 hp/sec ( i dont use anymroe do i dont remeber) paeon 2 does 3 hp/ sec and paen 3 i think still does 3 hp/sec. I actually think that this may have to do with your singing and insturment skill level over your chr. still not sure though, im sorry

This is very true. Theres an abundance of +Cha equipment especially around lvl40-50. And they give large bonuses to cha as well. Chose a race you'll be happy with and don't worry about your race too much. As Teffei said, you'll pretty much get invites with whatever your choice is as a bard. There's a level 70 bard on my server that doesn't even have a subjob. :sweat:
