Take Brian for instance, he has over 60 pieces of flair.

Like Icemage said, unless you just absolutely hate the model of your character, there's really no reason to go changing.

Same. I still have all my quested ninjutsu scrolls in storage that I did years ago. Same for things like the Mumeito weapon that you start with for Samurai, etc. Not because I'm planning to level those jobs any time soon, but I figured I'd want them "some day".

Money isn't easy to come by in FFXI, but it's easier than re-acquiring quest items that can only be acquired once.

I'm playing mnk now during my off time and umm, I do have to concur. 0 skill. Actually, I do other stuff while playing mnk. Throw on a dvd on the laptop, make some food. I dont go afk for more than 30-45s at a time but really, if I dont have anyone to talk to in game, I will fall asleep.

This is besides the point and the op.

            Thanks a bunch guys!
Glad I could be of assistance.

It's funny that I actually started thief aiming for 45 so I could affort to have highler level spells and upgraded gear only to discover I actually enjoy the job so I hope you also find it rewarding.

True enough on leveling to get your levels for the hunt is more work than getting just 600k once you get good at hunting although if it got into the millions it would be worth doing with a mule I think. Getting norge fame level 5 wasn't so bad though it took me 3 days of hunting Yagado in Gideus near Windy 3-4 hours a day, but I was using a thief 46 (Treasure hunter 2) and subbed blackmage to warp back. (Had all the gobie bags completed) so I might have been a little quicker than the average run for it. Killing individual Yadago and when Cyclone blade was up killing clumps of 5-6. Trains past that the drop rate went dead when I tested it. I also hunted late at night (2A roughly) so there was eith no competition or only one other which is easy to be in a different part hunting.
