i can relate to you 100%, i had a little bit of everything lvld and mh was full of stuff for other jobs, now im a sam, its very fun. but if you like the magic, id go with blu as well. drk is also a way to go, good dmg and you can put in spells here and there. but on some servers that i know of, drk dosnt get alot of invites cuse of bad reps. kids would lvl it cuse they like evil stuff and dont do crap.. but dont let all the disadvantages mess your choice up, go with what you feel, myself lvl sam and drk on the side beacuse sometimes i want a change.. whatever you choose goodluck! =D and, dont quit D:

I've had this problem aswell -- I played all the jobs except DRK, BLU, and DRG. Those happen to be my 3 favorite jobs ^^, I've decided to take BLU main, and play DRG or DRK when I want to level something different. Usually the things you don't really give a chance, those are the ones you'll like.

I always say that you never get a feel for a job untill at least level 40.. To a new player level 40 seems so high but it really isn't.. Please correct me if I am wronf everyone but EXP-wise isn't lv65 half way to 75?

So by level 40 you are just emerging into your job, by that time you should know your role pretty well, mages should have a decent ammount of MP to perform their job well, melee jobs get more stat focused gear etc.

We have a guy like you in our LS, he job changes so much and it's hard to keep up.. I suppose an upside of this is, slowly without realising it, soon you won't ever have to level a subjob lol.

Someone said earlier in this thread to level your subs first.. This is grand advice.

For RDM you're gonna need WHM and BLM to 37. (by lv75 RDM you should get NIN it makes for awesome solo)

For BLU, WHM or NIN for parties (some people do WAR) and after level 60 sub THF for SaTa.. the BLU in my last lv60 party did a 1100 Sickle Slash using SaTa, I was like HELL NO, as he beat my Flare lol. (job=BLM)

For SAM u need WAR, THF some people do NIN for solo and my friend also levelled RNG although i couldn't tell you anything about his reasons for that..
