    Re: a busy job

    There are times on my whitemage when I'm "busy", as in I have a que of spells that need to be cast (I kinda wish I could just "line them up" in the command string like one gigantic oversized macro), there are times where I'm VERY busy "OMG would cure V finish casting so I can cast cure IV on the next guy..." and times where I'm....not so busy. "Damn is Haste ever gonna wear off."

    Unfortunately, the times when I'm very busy, say, tanking a link while the BLM fumbles with his sleep macro, seem to be the times when my entire friendslist of people that haven't logged on in two months decide to log in, say hi, act offended when I ask them to give me five minutes, and log back out again. @_@;;

    If you know how to download and use VRS, I am interested in being tutored.
    *There is a high likelihood anyone who tutors me will recieve mucho artses*

      Re: what job?

      I concur, Corsair is the ideal for all of those traits you listed. You're running around, albeit not as much as a Bard, hitting key members with enhancing dice rolls, reviving party ability timers with Random Deal and Wild Card, and shooting the enemy in between rolls. Plus, you are a pirate. So you have that going for you.

      -Blue Mage, also, I've found, is a pretty busy job. You're speedcasting damaging and helpful magic, all the while doing damage with your sword(s). It is very powerful, and I don't think anyone would disagree that parties are more powerful for having a Blue Mage in it.

      Also, if you were willing to Re-neg on the Damage Dealing aspect:

      -Bard will have you running around all the live-long day, trying to target certain groups in your party with AOE songs (Mages only, Melee Only, etc). It's quite a workout, from what I've seen.

      -Red Mage will have you pressing buttons and macroes all the time. You cast enfeebling magic on the mob, backup cure, and later on, buff your party with cycles upon cycles of Haste and Refresh, while keeping an eye on your MP to convert every 10 minutes. If you love speedcasting, this is a great job.

      -Paladins are always busy. Provoking, using job abilities, and curing anyone missing a sliver of HP to retain hate. Done right, You're never NOT doing something, if you don't want hate to slip.
