I don't mind this at all. In fact I kinda like the fact that not as many characters look like
mine in the game...

I Say the only thing that comes close to the best... Is humes because there ok at everything and Not bad at anything.

This says "mediocre" more than "the best" to me. At least with the other races you
get to have something that is better than the other races.

Anyways, like everyone said, the best race is what you think looks the coolest IMO.

Tarutaru Taco

(Earth)
Tarutaru salad (the fresher the Taru the better, PLD Tarus give better mp and def)
Tortilla x2
Salsa


Tarutaru stew

(Fire)
Tarutaru mage
King Truffle
San d'Or. Flour
Gelatin
Honey
Apple Vinegar
Crying Mustard
Distilled Water


As you can see these are your regular recipes with a taru twist, I'm pretty sure you can use Tarus on every food recipe in Vana, but I dunno if the supply would last.

Mithra are best to land hits, look sexy doing it, are very good for caster because they have fairly high Magic points, better than hume as a white mage, and if my memory serves me more magic, and they make the best thiefs and rangers, and damnd fine Ninjas, although, humes would be better for that class just because they are higher intelegince than mithra and ninjas actually DO cast magic quite often

and they look sexy in mage robes!

I've always thought Galka and Elvaan made pretty dang nice NIN. And I'm not sure why you'd say a Mithra was a better WHM than Hume.

I played a mithra for a long time. Nothing against them really. I just don't like most of their fighting animations, and I don't like their low STR and VIT.

Lets not forget the taru superior dance moves with the /panic emote.
Pick what you think is cool if your looking for casual enjoyment. If your a returning player looking toward endgame. Galka/Elvan for hit points Taru for masive mana points.

Just a warning use it as a guide not a gospel since stat calculators will sometimes have errors, but as long as it's even roughly accurate it'll give you your "best" statwise.
Disclaimer: a good player with gimped gear/stats/exc will outperform a bad one with the most ideal race/gear exc so this is only one more tool to give you an edge.
