Job Class questions

Hi I just got the game today, and about to install it, and set up the game but before I do anything I thought I'd get some information.

Really all I want to know is maybe some bits of info on the different job classes like what they all have thats unique about them.

Wow thats a pretty tall order!

I'd say you should hit up each of the Job Fourms and browse the stickies, or just hit up

Here is a quick overview combined with some links on each job.

You do realize that you aren't forced to pick one and stay with it, right? You can switch as often as you like as long as you're in a city that allows it. No penalty. No loss of the EXP from the job you switched from. Nothing.

Thats what makes this game so much fun IMO. I get to have one Avatar that can do all the jobs. Rather than making a toon for each job/class.
