Are you part of a group or community? What do they need?

I'm part of a private gaming forum. Most of us are mid 20s to 40s Microsoft followers, but naturally play it all. We just happen to be able to be on at the same time on the evenings and weekends without our spouses/significant others getting TOO upset.

Anyways....

When we decided we were going to try out the beta, we talked through about what we should all be to get as well rounded as we could.

I chose to be a Taru BLM. In our group, we also have a Galkan Monk, Hume WHM, Elvaan Theif, Hume RDM, and another guy that has every class at mid-early levels (PS2 player) that can fill in for what the occasion calls for.

Really, you should pick you play style that interests you, but also keep in mind of what your teammates need.

Ok . . . and it's not as much about the stats for the races I'd chosen, it was just kinda how I would envision that character

Also, we said we were only trying the beta, out of curiosity, and decided before we decided that we wouldn't be purchasing the final version.

And a question for you vets...as I said I'm a Taru BLM/WHM. What would be the best advanced job to help my team. I was thinking DRG, but the more I read, the more I lean toward a Summoner. However, our RDM also is planning on being summoner. Suggestions?

Also, I'd like to play around and have my Taru be a NIN or SAM. It would be hilarious to have my little guy wield a sword twice my size and get my hands dirty!

lol, I play with the same 6 or 7 guys every day. It is a much more satisfying experience, for me anyways, playing with the same people that I know.

I'd like to have an advanced job as a sub however, or even as the main and have a BLM be a sub....

:S Don't agree to that. Know a lot high level Black Mages and Summoners who like to sub sumonner to Black Mages sometimes.

having a XBL friends list helps a ton though. I've been playing with the same guy from across the States and Canada for years, and posting on a forum every day at work. It is almost scary about how much I know about them, having not met them!!!

Guess I'm lucky.

You guys should try hooking up and playing together!

I know what you mean, I guess it's nice. I duo'd WoW together, with two friends on two characters. A bit harder in FFXI to do that tbh. I have a lot of friends on XBL (GT: Sweetkittyx) I sometimes play Halo2 etc with.
