To my knowledge, the 3 best soloers are bst, nin, and rdm (not in that order). Damnit, my posts are too long.

Well that's true but I was under the impression that you could level your NPC by killing things their level. So if you're level 50 and your NPC is level 30 you could level him by easily soloing th level 30 stuff. The NPC could then level without getting hurt.

i died several times trying to solo that "easy" level 30 stuff. i was playing as a level 55 ranger/ninja at the time.
i finally gave up on the npc and on soloing. this entire game is built from the ground up to make soloing suck as much as it possibly can.
