Almost like how Rangers owned the 3 kings and Sky. But when CoP expansion hit, they got knocked to useless in those fights.
Newer monsters just loves to beat blm's over use senseless. Some of them are just ratically different strats needed.
Unless you have a LS with multiple jobs for every situation, it's hard, to keep yourself on an army of blms, or army of anything.
Currently Blms rule in dynamis, dragons, and perhaps a few more. Other stuff so so, and on some stuff, you're better off with other classes.
Though there is one thing that seems to be generally used end game->
Anything with a range attack > Short range
With that said, mana burning pets in sea is just wrong.
