Ugh ok. So I recently started over with an elvaan character, because I suddenly lost interest in my mithra completley, and now I'm having a hard time picking a job.

The two contenders, are Samurai, and Dragoon. I know the first reaction is "Dude, you WANT To get parties right?" XD but I was DRK till 55, and made my own parties for well over 10 levels so that isn't a problem.

DRG: I love the AF, I love polearms, I love the whole style of it, there's just a certain attraction to it for me but I can't explain what it is. I love that it's not TOO expensive. I..hate wyverns. xD; I think they're ugly, but that's not the point. Pentathrust at 50 instead of the decent WS's at 60. Doublets are hot. I know you're probably reading thinking I'm looking at all the wrong things, XD but that's what I want the opinion on, to help guide me.

SAM: I love the style again, the japanese names of things~ I also love the Great katana stance and style. I love the whole TP thing, because Ws's keep me ammused and I like how there are alot of them for SAM. The AF.. is ok, on an elvaan female. XD; but it's also not a HORRIBLY expensive job since I have sniper rings and things left over from DRK.

So I just want your opinions, tell me things I didn't know and such-soforth. ^^

In terms of usefulness, I'll go for SAM.
In terms of AF... I don't like DRG's >.<

I will vote for the DRG for the sole fact that I would perfer them over SAM. Also for the fact that I like the wyverns. But that is just me.

I actually prefer DRG. I just like DRG's... always have and always will. Only thing that impresses me about a SAM is the self renkei, but how often do you do that in an exp party?
