  • Should I Get A War Job?

I just started a thief job a few days ago because I'm rather interested in getting the Treasure Hunter traits at level 15 and 45.
However, since my other 2 jobs are only WHM (currently my main job) and BLM, I subbed my BLM with THF, and I was a little surprised when using my THF that I was still gathering spells with my mp bar still in use. I was also quite puzzled at first, because THFs aren't mages, which got me wondering why I was getting the spells, until I realised a bit later on that it must be coming from my BLM, since I subbed it with my THF.

I briefly mentioned this to a friend ingame, and he said that I should make a WAR job, because BLM doesn't make a good sub for a THF.
But also that I would benefit from WAR in some way.
He's probably right that I should do this, but I think I need someone to point out and remind me what the benefits are.

On another note...... I never really intended making a fourth job on the same char because I'm worried about the amount of space in my Inventory.
And for the same reason, I never contemplated making a THF job on the same char until a few days ago.

I bought myself a chest of drawers for my Mog House a while back, and yesterday I used it to store my BLM equipment in while I am using THF so that I only have 2 sets of equipment in my Inventory at any one time.
The chest I bought could only store up to 10 items and those things are VERY expensive, and so I don't want to waste too much of my gil on buying another one.

So now I'm at a bit of a loss and unsure what to do.
I'm not sure whether to get a WAR Job for my THF.
Could anyone try and advise me and give any good help that they can on what I should do please?

sell any equiptment you dont need?
Another thing, is if you have friends that can help, there's a quest that requires you to stick a bed in your mog house, and after you finish it, your safe is increased by 10 spaces. (I know it, but I'm too lazy to put the whole quest up. . .)

    Yay, Ty for this Eohmer~

warrior is the basic of all melee jobs. It's definitely worth playing and you can use it as sub job for many many more jobs you want to try.

However, you already level up whm and blm right? Try to get one of those up to 30 and unlock ninja. Ninja is the most popular sub job for thf above level 20.

About inventory thing, have you done any mog house expansion quest in jeuno yet?

Well, I did have a set of chocobo hose and boots I wasn't using, so I sold them at the AH. It doesn't give me a lot of room though.

As for the bed quest..... I read, and printed out this quest a while back called "Give A Moogle A Break." (can't remember which site I picked it out from)
You start by placing a Bronze Bed in your Mog House, then wait for a few days.
Then you give your moggy a Power Bow and then a Beetle Ring.
I think this is when he upgrades your safe by 10.
But the only problem is, I checked out the prices of the bed and the power Bow at the AH a while back, and those things are very expensive.
I don't like paying too many thousand gil for items which may decrease my pocket size. (so to speak)

I shall have a look at the prices of these items again and see if there has been any difference in the price since last time I looked.
Though I odubt it will have changed very much.

What....... so warrior can even be a good sub job for mages too, or only melee type jobs?

However, you already level up whm and blm right?
        Yep. That is correct!

Hmm...... well, I have already started my thf job and am currently having some fun with it. I'll have a think about it though.
        Thanks,

Yep. I started the first two Gobbie bag quests a while back and have about 50 (well I say 50, though I'm not 100% sure away from the game) spaces in my Inventory at the moment. But I cannot get the next one until I have raised my fame for Windy by collecting quests from alla, or on the other FFXl sites. Though I'm waiting to get some ink for my printer, and I can't do any quests until then.
