Oh yeah, just one last thing...don't play Warrior as a mere stepping stone for Dragoon
Your Spear skill will practically level itself up as you level DRG, and once you hit level 30 WAR you can level your Spear skill by a good degree very quickly and easily. A WAR's best weapons are axes and great axes. I'm not gonna force you to use them, but you'll definetely be more efficient if you do. Like Sweetkitty said, it's gonna take at least a month to get high enough to unlock DRG, and you're going to have to go out of your way to level a sub job for your WAR job too (usually Monk.) It takes time, so have fun while you level other jobs or you're going to end up frustrated.

Wow... well I'm looking forward to playing! And the popup menu will be nice, I'm not sure what I'd do without it. Anyways, I'm always playing some sort of melee class in any game, just recently quit World of Warcraft, after a year of playing. (After a year and getting decked out with stuff... gets boring). So yeah.. I'm looking forward to playing and hopefully getting used to leveling 2 classes at once.. war/monk until I get to be a dragoon.
P.S. Can't wait to ride a chocobo either ^_^Comment

You played WoW for a year? As you start playing, you'll notice how SIMILIAR the games are. Want to know a good way to quickly get Dragoon without having to swap gears much and stuff? Level Monk to 18, do the subjob quest (easy), sell all your Monk armor and level Warrior(/monk) to 30. ^^ Then you're good for Dragoon till level 60. And by that time... Well you know.
Monk uses hand-to-hand, Warrior uses Great Axe or Sword + Shield. If you come to Remora server, I'll give you some starting gil. ^^

Nice, anyways I was told that it chooses a random server for you when you create your character (I havnt logged in yet). So is there any ways I can garentee myself coming to your server?Comment

Well, I may not be able to log in today sadly, I have to get home, pack my stuff and hop on a bus to my dad's for christmas. So... chances are I'll be online on the 25th or 26th, somewhere along those lines.Comment
