Seriously need some advice, plain and simple pls

    Seriously need some advice, plain and simple pls

    I have a level 5 WHM- Taru Taru called Whitewhisper on seraph server, and a lvl 18 HUME War called Marutah, And I am deciding to stick to my taru taru cus they r mad as hell to play as lol, I am currently leveling up White Mage as my Main-Job and im wanting to go Samurai and Dragoon as my melle jobs (MAIN) and I am Wanting to keep leveling WHM as my main so i can be a summoner and Bard later on for supporting and healing/Summoning aeons ect.

    If i level up WHM then get sub job quest done + sam and drg quest done at level 30 as a whm with help from my Linkshell friends, Could i sub WHM and level up Sam and Drg as main without much hassle? i mean will it affect me getting in a party?

    The furthest i been ingame from bastok is to the beach in the dunes, And i never seem to see people bothering what they have as SUB, just what they have as main, use a Bard and a WHM + a Sam and a War or to, maybe a ninja and we hunt quickly ( expereince from my lvl 18) so im just asking this to know wether im wasting my time or not.

    It will affect you getting a party, but I won't say that you'll NEVER get invites in the beginning. You may get an invite or two from desperate or clueless people and with patience you could level up a bit. As you get further up however, possibly after quifim, people have less tolerance for that sort of thing and you will be looked over for sam/war. Drg/whm actually makes more sense but it's for support healing and you'll mostly be invited to be DD. So don't expect very many invite or any at all after a certain point with whm subbed on either of these jobs.

    You're better off leveling up war first before you dig into melee. It's just better than whm sub for a dd and you have the added option of being able to help protect others with provoke.

      you will have a hard time, yes. It will be a hassle, yes.

      Don't forget you can always change job in this game. So, when you play whm, just bring up blm and go with whm/blm. And when you want to play drg and sam, take your time and level war up for sub job. Really, don't be afraid to put your time into levelling different jobs. They won't go away, and can come in handy later on.

        in valkrum dunes, no one cares what you sub.

        past valkrum, if you have a lousy sub, you will only get invited if there is absolutely no other choice, maybe not even then, if your sub isn't at least functional.

        my best advise is to just take war to 37 and be done with it. you don't have to do it right away, but eventually you'll find yourself better off with at least one well levelled sub. war to 37 doesn't take long, and it isnt very hard either.

          in valkrum dunes, no one cares what you sub.
          I beg to differ. VD is ass as is, no need to make it even worse.

            Okies ty, I may Aswell level Warrior AND white mage together take turns 5 lvls of war then Whm and so on till they both lvl 30 ish, Then i can sub WHM as a DRG, and sub WAR as a Sam, then i shouldnt find any problems correct? If so thanks it's cleared everything up for me.
