my character is a med. hume ^_^ this is a little off topic but does anyone know if there is going to be any mithran males disigned into the game? cause there soposed to be male i beleave cause ive seen messages in the game saying they exist but they dont show up for the FFXI veiwer thingy so i dont think they exist yet. i was hoping that with the new expantion comming out they may have them ^_^ and if so they mite let us creat them ^____^ i really hope so >_> i want the dex and sexyness but id rather not be a chick.
and i want a kool tail ^,^ and if they do come ill probly get med ~_^

I would definetally say small, mainly because I like playing as mages type classes, so I would like to be small but have a crap load of magic.... but... ahh..... not Taru small, that'd just be pocket sized.

Oh, and re: Mithra Males:
SE wouldn't put them in the game as the context of the mithra race has the male population as being very small and therefore the males cannot leave the sheltered communities for fear of depopulating the race. Maybe we'll see manthras as NPCs, but I highly doubt it will ever be a playable race.

Storyline says that male Mithra are rare and don't adventure. Whether that means they have no inclination to it, or are forbidden from it, isn't quite made clear. If male Mithra PCs were ever available, though, it'd have to be awarded to people under special circumstances just to not undercut the intended rarity.

Since even in Kazham we see no male Mithra npcs, it's possible to infer that the males aren't allowed out in public at all. If we were going to see male Mithra though, it'd almost certainly be in the form of a few rare npcs.

edit: erf... missed the second page again

I am curious as to why there are mithra children younger than the time of the war. Are people still emigrating from Kazham? Or is there another possible explanation?

I have 2 large Elvaans, and I think a medium Hume.

Did somebody say that large Elvaans look fat? Odude doesn't look fat at all. I think he's actually too thin for that long ass torso! lol

My personal opinion is that Mithra are able to mate with races other than their own. They could have a Mithra girl, or maybe they could have a child of another race.

Hey, it's a fantasy world; it may not make sense according to our world, but who's to say it wouldn't work in Vana'diel?
