Took me about 1 hour to reformat the list I had compiled. Many thanks to Rugal, Apple Pie and other FFXIOnline.com people for the original lists. There's still lots of information missing, so if you know something to add, please feel free to edit the Wiki. This lists all the information I've been able to gather in regards to how every weaponskill's damage is calculated save for Relic weaponskills. Happy Math-crunching! ^^

The link in the credits section points to the wrong thread, probably a result from the site update.

Also, you might wanna include the part about multi-hit weapon skills, and how sneak attack modifies pDif.

you probably need to fix some mistranslation (maybe 'misconception' is a better word) by Rugal

fSTR and fSTR2 implies the function of the difference of your STR vs monster VIT (not just a value subtraction)
fINT implies the function of the difference of your INT vs monster INT (not just a value subtraction)
PDIF and MDIF also the function of of the difference of your (R)ATK vs monster DEF and function ofyour MATK vs monster MDEF respectively (not just a value subtraction)

the fSTR2 matrix can be seen on the studio gobli ( http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Part/6371/memo.html )by the end of the page

there are 2 tables, one for low STR difference and one with high STR difference

Apparently the function of fSTR and fSTR2 is varied among weapon rank

        weapon rank = floor (D/9)
        example : Shigeto Bow : D76. Rank = floor(75/9) = 8

        here's what I've translated from 2 tables :
