    Ello ello,

    Just wondering how much the Job Trait "Accuracy Bonus" gives?

    Asking a friend whos level 74 as Dragoon he says he thinks we get about +3-5 accuracy per level after obtaining Accuracy Bonus and that it builds up.

    I dunno about that theory, doesn't sound quite right :sweat:

    So how much do you think Accuracy bonus gives?

      Accuracy Bonus I (DRG30, RNG10): +10
      Accuracy Bonus II (RNG30): +22
      Accuracy Bonus III (RNG50): +35
      Accuracy Bonus IV (RNG70): +48

      It is confirmed that they also increase ranged accuracy but there's no way we can confirm exact numbers.

        Just curious, how did you get those numbers Apple pie? or where was your source?

          The exact numbers they are basing it against equipment that give +Accuracy. And then using a parser to see how frequently their Accuracy changes in relation to the change off their controlled environment.

          What surprised me is the increments shown though. I've got to question those. Following the games design I would think that the changes would be:

          Accuracy Bonus I (DRG30, RNG10): +10
          Accuracy Bonus II (RNG30): +21
          Accuracy Bonus III (RNG50): +33
          Accuracy Bonus IV (RNG70): +46

          Since it is a common pattern in many of the things that when they increment they increment by previous number + ( base number + increment level). Especially holding true since almost everything trait related and such all have a base of +10 on their first increment and every one seems to show a (10+(10+1))= 21 increment on their second and the third being (21+(10+2)) = 33 and so on.

          That pattern shows up nearly everywere, If you look at Attack Bonus, Defense Bonus, Healing HP (As normal, no +HP when healing), Healing MP (As normal, no +MP when healing), even the Accuracy Bonus shows the same starting pattern.

          EDIT:

          Really though if you look at it what I thought and what Apple is stating it to be are still close, I feel more comfortable with mine though because their evidance is also considering game design and not just derived from averages in parsers.

            Those bonus numbers can be counted backward by reading mob's strength (Low / High Evasion).

            For example, have two characters with the same weapon skill. Let's say, RDM60/something and RDM60/RNG10. Match their DEX since +2 DEX is equivalent to +1 Acc.
            http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/sho...4&pagenumber=2

            Find some EM or T cons and add +Acc gears until you start to see "Low Evasion" message. Suppose RDM60/something needs +X accuracy to get it. RDM60/RNG10 only needs +(X - 10) accuracy. That's how we found Accuracy Bonus I gives us +10 accuracy. Others can be found in the same way.

            Then, as Macth stated, these numbers (+10/22/35/48) are used for other traits such as Attack Bonus and Defence Bonus.

            Finally, although accuracy numbers aren't visible in game, we're able to get them using this formula.

            ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
            Weapon Skill =< 200
            X = "Weapon Skill" + int (DEX / 2) + Accuracy Boost + 10

            Weapon Skill > 200
            X = 200 + [("Weapon Skill" - 200) * 0.9] + int (DEX / 2) + Accuracy Boost + 10

            Mob's with Low Evasion: X > Mob's Evasion + 20
            Mob's with High Evasion: X =< Mob's Evasion - 20
            ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
            http://pamama.hp.infoseek.co.jp/FF11...-03-12-19.html

            With the mothod above, we're also able to know how much some JAs such as Aggressor and Focus increases accuracy. Here's what we get so far.

            Aggressor: +25 (No Ranged Accuracy)
            Focus: +20 (No Ranged Accuracy)

              Have there been any tests regarding the AF2 body piece for WAR in regards to how it enhances Aggressor? "Enhanced" on the AF2 is so irratic...."Enhanced Sentinal" gives more DEF, "Enhanced Warcry" allows it to last 15 seconds long, "Enhanced Berserk" lowers the amount of DEF Berserk takes away. Hopefully some testing has been done on how it enhances it.

                  l)@RK-l)EVIL, you're right. Soul Eater also gives you +25 accuracy while activated and that's been a common sense among us.

                  As for Enhanced Agressor of Worrior's Lorica, someone reported that you got a few more accuracy with it. He's not sure how much you get exactly.

                    I was browsing through allakhazam forum, and notice that someone claimed that DRG ACC Bonus trait increases ACC by the 20%, and said the official japanese strategy guide back up his claim.

                    http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/...566645-9145836

                    I don't believe that it is the truth, as DRG would never miss if they actually get a 20% ACC boost, but the fact that he mentioned the particular strategy guide seem to make it believable to most people.

                    So does anyone have access to this particular guide and take an excerpt regarding this to support it, or should I just dismiss this as another bogus that allakhazam forum usually come up with?

                      Well, if it was 20%, then DRG's wouldn't want to use sushi. Remember that once a book is out, they can't update it. This game is constatnly changing.

                        I agree with GSDragoon. It would be better than what Sushi offers if it was really "by 20%." Any LV30+ DRGs wouldn't have problem with their accuracy then.

                          Was just wonder what does the "int" stand for in the equation above?

                          X = "Weapon Skill" + int (DEX / 2) + Accuracy Boost + 10

                          Also, does each ACC JT add that much ACC, or are you guys just adding the totals.

                          Thanks
