Everyone conveniently forgets the gambler. That could prove to be a very interesting job to say the least. Probably use daggers and throwing. WS's would be added for throwing, with some Gambler only (probably one NIN only also), and would be gambling-centric. You can end up taking damage (seldomly), breaking even, or hitting the jackpot. Abilities would be likely be a critical hit % up and Parry boost for passive abilities and dice and card game timed abilities. The only thing counting against it is THF already has Gil Finder, Treasure Hunter, and Mug.

I also very much like the idea of the Mimic job. In fact, there is little required to institute it, just a robust ability combination system. Mimic can equip all equipment, has a C for all skills (except for wind/string/singing which are D), and has only two active abilities. You'd have one ability at level 10 or so that requires you to pick a player around you. The next ability/spell they use, you use a couple seconds later(with some exceptions). The main one is the 2-hour. . . get ready for the most gimped but potentially useful 2-hour. Imitate: A window pops up that allows you to select other job abilities. You get three or four active ability slots (let's say levels 20, 30, and 40), and three or four passive ability slots (let's say levels 15, 30, and 50). The reason I say we need a robust combination system is to keep people from abusing the system. It would only provide options available by that level in other jobs, and then only if you have that job leveled to that point. Certain combinations wouldn't be allowed (i.e. Last Resort or Berserk, but not both) and be limited to a maximum amount of jobs (i.e. Abilities may only be chosen from any four jobs). MP and spell options would be calculated based on which jobs you chose abilities from. There would naturally be a few other details to cover, but Mimic would be a very strong job only if people put a lot of effort into other jobs. It would also be an ideal subjob, but only if you planned ahead. Specifically 2 hours ahead. Imagine DRG/MMC with Counter, ATK Up II, Sneak Attack, and Meditate. He uses Meditate, then Sneak Attack, and follows with a WS. The monster turns to him and attacks, which he promptly counters. Then he uses Copy and selects himself. He then uses Jump, and again a second later. This DRG/MMC is already most of the way to a WS again, and five minutes later (assumed Copy ability timer) he gets to repeat the process.
      4 out of 3 people have a problem with fractions. . .
