Well I for one am not a Mithra, I'm a Female Hume. I'm also gay in reality, but that is definitely not the reason why I chose to be a female. Why the hell would I want to hit on some nasty geeky kids with pizza faces by pretending to be a girl? Instead I could just go to a gay bar/dance club and find people there that would be much more attractive.

Any way I kinda in the same boat as Modnar.

The Reason I wouldn't want to be a female char is because it wouldn't be me. If I was a female char I'd have this constant feeling to act like a female. Maybe not every one feels that way with a female char but thats the way I feel.

In MY opinion I like to act the way I do in RL online and that means being a male char or I would have a fake personality or something:spin:

now heres the thing what happened if there was no race like if there were just all females or all males then I wouldn't feel different because there is no difference but when I'm a female char in the game I'll be first looked on by all others as a female instead of a male.

and again Its because in games such as this I like to represent my physical self and not something of the other gender where people could misinterpret who I am.

I don't like being called a homophobe though just because I don't like playing a female char though. I mean hell if you like playing a female char go for it I won't care. Its just not my cup of tea playing something that I am not.

Now its different in mmorpgs compared to other games just because in mmorpg's you interact with other people instead of in games such as metriod or ffx-2

And to tell you the Truth I know a shit load of people who play mmorpg's just for the socailization how wierd that may be to some. My best friends girlfriend plays it for that reason.

And again I don't like to play a female char just because "TO ME" it feels as if I'm not playing who I "Me" am/is and thus would feel to act with a different personaity not my own. This doesn't bother me with mithras as much just because to me 75% of all mithra's I assume they are guy's since guys play mmorpg's more then girls.

and back to topic I think Male mithra's would own just cuz like that one guy said Hume with tail = UBER

I think you seem to forget its a game and if you feel the need to start "hitting" on someone because their char is female then youve got the problem and not the person playing. I went a mithra because I think other characters look stupid and in some armour they look really silliy but alot of male characters just have to start showing off or saying things about sex as soon as they see im a mithra, I'm not they one with a problem.

Edit: Sorry I did actually have something on topic to say.

I dont think sqaure will ever put in a Male mithra as a playable character because that would really tick off all those people that went mithra but would have gone a male one had it been available. Prolly see a male in a cutscene though.

Male Mithra will never be....would have to change to much of the story and Mithra backline

Haveing problems being a Female charater online, or the idea of males, playing females is something that you have to deal with.

All these excuses like "I dont want to be hit on" or "I dont want to marry a guy ingame" these are not good enuff IMNO

if you want the stats taht Mithra get BE A MITHRA and roleplay, I haave done it for a year and 3 months and it makes the game alot more entertaining
