i think the point he's trying to make is how come people are stupid enough to:

examine you and then blatantly comment upon: job, subjob, race, weapon, boots, rings, social status, linkshell, underwear color, how you smell, the way you walk, your bazaar message, you, that hat, your pants, the mantle, and i could go on.

one time i was wearing the brass subligar set (lvl 11) just because.. well, its subligar, you know how lovely they are, even tho my lvl was 14, so this guy checks me out and disses me and calls me an idiotic noob and what not because im wearing outdated armor, woo!

i mean... do you take the time to care what race i am or what armor im wearing? O_O quit bothering me, you maggot <.<

Elvaans are champion WARs, but Taru WARs are 500x cooler, because watching a tiny dude swing a gigantic axe/spear is just hilarious.

I had a tarupld who got eaten twice by a sickle even the whm throwed a Cure 4 on him.

Problem of Melee tarus is, they don't have that much hp and can get eaten by the mob. It's like Elvaan THF or RNG, they AGI department lacks bad.

Also those who call my Armor/Weapons outdated, they are just noobs and don't know anything from the armor or the game. But one Problem in this Game is that there's too many wanna-be-leet-and-you-have-to-be-also-leet-to-join-my-super-cool-party

ive had poor elvaan thfs, but ive also had some pretty amazing ones also. as well as galka whms. all depends on the effort one puts into their character.

There's nothing quite as baffling as watching a high-lvl Taru Paladin tank the hell out of some of Vana'diel's biggest baddies. I'm happy as an Elvaan Paladin - I chose the Elvaan race specifically because they make great template Paladins - but playing as a Taru PLD is a lot of fun; or so I've been told.

FFXI has been designed so that any race can play any job; all it takes is a certain ammount of skill and knowledge. Any half-brained assclam can be a Galka Monk (not making any specific accusations here, just taking an example) but I really respect people who play race/job combos well that are out of the norm.
