Ways I would improve FFXI(No! Not a retarded poppipo thread)

    Brainstormed Samurai ideas:

    Rally (Instant, 5 minute cooldown) - Similar to Warcry, Rally will increase the TP of party members within range by 20 to 30 TP. This will increase the Samurai and his party members' Skillchain effects. Downside would also be similar to Warcry in that it will act as a backup provoke, which can be an upside if the Samurai has to grab hate in a pinch.

    Ougi (1 use, 3 minute cooldown) - Like Sneak Attack for Thieves, only Ougi can be used from anywhere in reference to the mob, however it can only be used on a weapon skill. It will not disappear if you use a normal attack, and will boost the strength of a weapon skill by 2x to 3x its normal amount.

    Deathblow (Instant, 5 minute cooldown) - The Samurai sheathes his sword and slashes, not unlike the Tachi: Kasha animation. This would deal moderate damage (about equal to a Dragoon's Jump attacks), and would have the added benefit of adding TP.

        I agree, everything SE does is just taking something out of the game and suger coat it by saying "new abilities!"

        They gimped drgs.
        They gimped rngs.
        They gimped Brds.

          they changed each of these classes because each oif them had something that made them way to strong, and in their minds needed to be changed, and I agree with them. You cant have one job overpower another, this is the basic rule of MMORPG creation. I say it might even take them another 6months to a year to get all the jobs balanced perfectly.....just a latter of time

            ummm.... so by gimping rangers, by taking away food that can enhance ranged ACC, and take away Minuets effect to enhance ranged ACC.... sounds resonable? Dragoons dont get invites after level 60 if you have'nt realized..... not a single one lvl 75 online in Ragnarok. It used to be a perfect sub for Samurai till it was gimped.

            Then they make NMs easier for gil seller PTs, and harder for normal or solo people who want a drop... Then they add in some half-assed ACC rings and expect that to make up for it.

            Now you tell me..... how is that reasonable????!!!!

                I think Square needs to add new stuff to all jobs like new 2hrs and more abilities also hiden abilites like if you have blm/whm you like + 5 Healing Magic skill. Also I think I know what would fix inflation and the over the top prices. MAKE EVERY SINGLE NM DROP RARE/EX that way you can 't sell/buy/ or trade NM drops you want one go farm it and you can only get one! That way very soon prices will drop and done deal. Also make the high level synthesized stuff RARE/EX as well. This way everyone has a fair chance at getting it and no over the top prices! I also agree that the game needs more fun events. I don't however agree with the EXP scrolls off quests maybe make one or two hard ones that drop a 5k or so EXP scroll but not one for every Avatar then you could go from 50-75 in a week and not even I would do that! Also no mobs that give 2-4k EXP cuz then we would have like 50 people camping that 24/7!

                  Add Triple Triad or Tetra Master as a Minigame in FFXI..where you can get card pack upgrades from NPCs or something....or maybe an organization for the card games where you can challenge NPCs..and if people want to be challeneged to the game they can target and challenge them to a friendly game at least when they are LFG...keep track of win-loss-draw records and etc.

                  Make sure they can still be invited to parties regardless of playing or not. Make maybe something like 3-5 starter decks(like a Moogle Starter Deck, or a Mandragora Starter Deck) and you can get more cards off certain monsters? If not booster packs would be fun to have(w00t Zield or Lion Booster packs). Not to mention some "Rare" Cards that can be traded between players making things fun. Make these games a hobby of the NPCs in the world of VanaDiel...why not? =/ Or maybe even some monthly event that rolls around in Jeuno where there is a Card Tournament where you can get Cash prizes (10K for first place, 5K for second, and 3K for third maybe..?)?

                  I dont know, but if its EVER implemented, there can be lots of things to branch off into. Not to mention its something off the Melee LFGers stress of going into PTs.
